- SCAN ALL FILES that you receive in your email and delete unknown e-mail attachments.
- BOOKMARK the HOAX and new virus pages of a reputable virus protection site.
- VIRUS WARNINGS should be checked before forwarding them.
- NEVER FORWARD emails that tell you to "forward to all your friends".
- DELETE HOAXES and politely let the person that sent it to you know that it was a hoax. Refer them to a site where they can be educated on the negative consequences of hoaxes.
