Mom's Herbal Honey
- Add two teaspoons of your favorite fresh herb to a quart of honey. Warm over low heat. Place in a canning jar and store for 2 or 3 weeks to get the full flavor.
(Recommended herbs for this recipe... sage or rosemary)

FREEZING HERBS:
Blanch herbs and freeze them. Most herbs can be frozen without blanching as well but blanching them first helps retain the color.
Puree herbs with a small amount of olive oil then freeze in small portions to add to your cooking as the need arises. (Addendum: Cheryl suggests ice cube trays are great for this. Place the cubes in a ziplock once the cubes are formed)
