Drying Tulips |

| My boyfriend gave me tulips for Valentine's and I was just wondering if there is a way I can dry them to save them or any ideas? |

| Hi Elizabeth I don't believe there is a way to dry the flowers whole as with roses etc but if you dry out the flowers in the microwave on low to medium heat for a few seconds then you should be able to press them with no problems. If you just press them without drying them first, they will sometimes go mouldy. Once you have pressed them you can make a collage or add them to a scrapbook for a nice keepsake. |

| Some tulips press better than others. There are a few of the lighter colors that will discolor somewhat when pressed. |
