 June Feature:  Weed ending secrets

Annual weeds produce thousands of seeds. They are carried in the wind, by people and animals and each seed develops into more weeds. To break this cycle, don't ever allow annual weeds to go to seed. Get rid of them when they first begin sprouting. (usually after a rain) Get more WEED ENDING SECRETS  HERE.

    Containers for different colors

  2. Put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Be very careful it might be hot!

  3. Mix it well then pour it into your containers.

  4. In each container, mix a different color of food coloring and add a few drops of dish soap.

What's an elephant's favorite vegetable?
Squash!

  1. Plants need food, water and plenty of sunshine to grow up to be healthy just like you do.

  2. Next time your lawn needs watering, offer to help and play some games with your friends running through the sprinkler at the same time. Remember to move the sprinkler around the lawn so that each area gets a good drink of water. This is a great way to keep cool and lots of fun too.

  3. It's important to remember not to play in the vegetable and flower beds because it will damage the soil and your flowers and vegetables will not grow as well.
