GARDEN CRITTER:
Watch his hair grow or give him a trim.
- Ask your mom if she has any nylon stockings that she no longer wants. Fill the tip of the stocking with soil and sprinkle grass seed into it.
- Tie it up with a knot then glue buttons on it for eyes.
- Place it on a plastic plate so that you won't damage your furniture... or keep it outside.
- Soak it entirely and watch the grass seeds sprout and grow up through the nylon.
- You can carefully trim the grass when you feel this critter needs a haircut.
- Make sure to give it a drink regularly.

DRAGON FLIES:
- Hatch from eggs and live in the water for the first part of their life eating mosquito larvae.
- When they grow and develop into winged insects they will eat adult mosquitos.
- Some cultures believe that if a dragonfly lands on you it will bring you good luck.
- Never harm dragonflies.
Why didn't the man's hair get wet in the pouring rain?
